Who's a worthy Champion?

After the Singapore GP, the Championship is pretty much a one sided affair. Jenson Button with his 15 and 25 points lead over Rubens and Sebastein respectively with just 3 races remaining. The question that arises on my mind these day is, Are the CHAMPIONSHIP CONTENDERS really worth it? For a start we all know the magic period for Jenson this season where he managed to win 6 of the 7 races including a well credited win at Monaco GP. It is a known fact that most teams were at their incompetitive best during this period. Jenson and Brawn GP managed to take advantage of that situation pretty well. With a couple of wins by rubens and a couple by vettel, they are infact in my point of view not a worthy candidate for the championship. Even though Rubens managed to win when the going was tough for the Brawm team, it still does not look good in a champions resume, if he manages to win the title. Sebastein with his - I DESERVE TO WIN ALL THE TIME - attitude, failed to score at numerous occasions due to his extreme pointless and baseless aggression. Which brings me to the question, Are they realy deserving champions? When we compare data from 2007 and 2008 we get the answer. In 2007, the thing that made news besides Alonso- Lewis intense team rivalry and the spygate scandal was the wins and extreme competition between the contenders. Of the 17 races in that season, FERARI won 9 and Mclaren 8. kimi won 6, alonso and lewis 4 each and massa won 3 of those making it the one of the most spectacular season. All these wins were evenly spread and were very competetive. Like wise last year, the championship race was exciting between HAMILTON and MASSA. I guess i have made my point. Will comment more after Japan.
